Tai Mitchell

The Henry Taiporutu Mitchell Shield, was first awarded in 1938.

Some of the teams that compete in this tournament are Whakatane, Opotiki, Galatea, Rangitaiki, Tauranga West, Tauranga East, Rotorua Gold, Rotorua Maroon, Te Puke and Apanui.

Players from this tournament are then selected for the Bay Of Plenty Roller Mills Team.
